About This Work
In June of 1985 John F. Adams suffered a severe neck injury when his car was hit from behind by another vehicle. For the next year he was unable to lift his three year old daughter, Heather, or to continue to physically play with her as he had been doing.
While John recovered, his twin brother, Frank Adams, helped out. Heather so enjoyed continuing to do Family plays that father, daughter and uncle together set about discovering all the traditional Family Plays and thinking up as many new ones as they could. Each play was tested for interest and safety. This collection of the best Family Plays they found.
In time and after extensive physical therapy John's neck healed enough so that he could again do many of these plays with his daughter.
